The Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Business Development (EBD) at ESMEP is a RNCP-registered qualification, Level 7, designed to train value creators and leaders over two years, capable of driving the growth of existing organisations or launching new enterprises.
This programme is perfectly suited to the needs of managers responsible for promoting entrepreneurship, who are looking for creative, passionate, curious, and motivated team members.

Salary
The average annual salary upon graduation from the Master’s in Entrepreneurship & Business Development is €28,000.
Students entering the first year of a Master’s programme are required to successfully complete all skills blocks, while those entering directly into the second year may be exempted from certain skills blocks.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
The Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Business Development (EBD) at ESMEP is a Level 7 RNCP-recognised programme that aims to achieve the following objectives:
Acquire the tools and methodologies to transform an idea into a viable business model (Business Model Canvas, Lean Startup, Design Thinking).
Identify untapped market opportunities and design truly innovative product or service offerings.
Master Business Development (BizDev) techniques to identify new partners, markets, or customer segments with high growth potential.
Draft a comprehensive and persuasive business plan, including market research, financing strategy, and operational planning.
Understand fundraising mechanisms, investment instruments (Venture Capital, Growth Capital), and optimise the financial performance of a new entity.
Grasp the challenges and strategies required to scale a business internationally.
Understand the ethical, legal, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) considerations in business development
DURATION
DURATION OF STUDIES:
1,500 hours over 2 years for students holding a Bachelor’s degree (BAC+3) or equivalent.
750 hours over 1 year for students holding a BAC+4, BAC+5, or equivalent.
350 hours of asynchronous e-learning over 6 to 9 months for students entering Master 1.
450 hours of asynchronous e-learning over 9 to 15 months for students entering Master 2.
INTERNSHIP / WORK-STUDY:
Master 1 (M1): Annual training hours.
Master 2 (M2): Minimum annual training hours: 910 hours.
Admission Requirements
Entry Level(s)
Bachelor’s degree / Undergraduate degree and Bac+4
Prerequisites:
The Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Business Development (EBD) at ESMEP is open to holders of a Bachelor’s degree or any other Level 6 qualification. For entry directly into the second year of the Master’s, candidates must have completed Master 1 or hold an exemption granted by the certifying authority.
Admission is based on a review of the application and, where applicable, an interview.

Case studies and/or tests and/or essays and/or text analyses and/or multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and/or oral assessments and/or research projects / Continuous assessment / Work-study and competency evaluation (written + oral) / Thesis defence / Professional evaluation in the company

Applications for the September 2025 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2025
Applications for the deferred January 2026 intake continue until 18 December

Access to our programmes can be initiated:
By the employer,
By the employee with their consent,
By a student or their legal guardian
Work-study programmes are available from the third year onwards.
Once the application form has been completed, our school undertakes to respond within 72 hours.
If the programme requires prerequisites, we will then propose, regardless of the funding method you intend to use, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Validation of competency blocks:
Block 1: Create and develop a digital entrepreneurship project with AI support
Block 2: Design a digital project using a UX Design approach adapted to AI
Block 3: Manage a digital project using agile methodology, and develop its functional specifications and technical requirements
Block 4: Develop an e-marketing and communication strategy for a digital entrepreneurship project with AI support
Block 5: Conduct studies and draft reports in economic intelligence and corporate strategy
