The Master’s in Sustainable Development and CSR Management (RSE) at ESMEP is a RNCP-registered qualification, Level 7, designed to train professionals over two years who are sensitive to socio-environmental transition and sustainability issues, equipping them to implement, manage, and improve management systems in these key areas of a company.
This programme is perfectly suited to the needs of managers attentive to CSR and Sustainable Development issues, who are looking for creative, passionate, curious, and motivated team members.

Salary
The average annual salary upon graduation from the Master’s in Sustainable Development and CSR Management is €28,000.
Students entering the first year of a Master’s programme are required to successfully complete all skills blocks, while those entering directly into the second year may be exempted from certain skills blocks.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
The Master’s degree in Sustainable Development and CSR (RSE) at ESMEP is a State-recognised Level 7 qualification that aims to achieve the following objectives:
Acquire an in-depth understanding of the regulatory framework for CSR and Sustainable Development (ISO standards, current regulations, SDG reference frameworks).
Develop and implement a CSR strategy tailored to the specific context of the organisation.
Integrate principles of sustainability and positive impact into project design and management.
Map the company’s stakeholders and engage teams effectively.
Audit CSR performance.
Manage CSR-related risks and identify opportunities for sustainable innovation.
Master ethical and responsible marketing and communication plans.
Develop new business models and innovations for impact.
Analyse and assess the environmental and social impacts of an organisation’s economic activities.
DURATION
DURATION OF STUDIES:
1,500 hours over 2 years for students holding a Bachelor’s degree (BAC+3) or equivalent.
750 hours over 1 year for students holding a BAC+4, BAC+5, or equivalent.
350 hours of asynchronous e-learning over 6 to 9 months for students entering Master 1.
450 hours of asynchronous e-learning over 9 to 15 months for students entering Master 2.
INTERNSHIP / WORK-STUDY:
Master 1 (M1): Annual training hours.
Master 2 (M2): Minimum annual training hours: 910 hours.

Entry Level(s)
Bachelor’s degree / Undergraduate degree and Bac+4
Prerequisites:
The Master’s in Sustainable Development and CSR Management (RSE) at ESMEP is open to holders of a Bachelor’s degree or any other Level 6 qualification. For entry directly into the second year of the Master’s, candidates must have completed Master 1 or hold an exemption granted by the certifying authority.
Admission is based on a review of the application and, where applicable, an interview.

Case studies and/or tests and/or essays and/or text analyses and/or multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and/or oral assessments and/or research projects / Continuous assessment / Work-study and competency evaluation (written + oral) / Thesis defence / Professional evaluation in the company

Applications for the deferred January 2026 intake continue until 18 December

Work-study programmes are available from the third year onwards.
Once the application form has been completed, our school undertakes to respond within 72 hours.
If the programme requires prerequisites, we will then propose, regardless of the funding method you intend to use, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Validation of competency blocks:
Block 1: Create and develop a digital entrepreneurship project with AI support
Block 2: Design a digital project using a UX Design approach adapted to AI
Block 3: Manage a digital project using agile methodology, and develop its functional specifications and technical requirements
Block 4: Develop an e-marketing and communication strategy for a digital entrepreneurship project with AI support
Block 5: Conduct studies and draft reports in economic intelligence and corporate strategy
